The AEROGEL INSOLE has an increased capacity of thermal insultation. Due to its revolutionary characteristics, it has been utilized by NASA in thermal shields of spacecrafts. Being composed of microcells which do not lose their shape, the thickness of the insole remains constant over time. Moreover, the particular internal structure functions as a spring that absorbs shocks of the foot, thus making the walker feel more comfort.

The PLASMA LINING is a combination of hydrophobic and hydrophilic fibres in a mixed structure due to which the internal layer of the fabric remains dry when it gets into contact with the foot, while the external layer behaves as a tank for sweat which is literally “inhaled” and thus expelled. The use of such special fabric guarantees the maximum comfort, total transpiration, and fast drying. In fact, the plasma has an incredible ability of absorption. Only 8 seconds, as compared with 300 seconds of the normal leather lining, thus preventing sweat from flowing down. Moreover, the lining is antibacterial, and thus odorless, because it is given a silver ion treatment which is not only completely natural but also more effective in combating bacteria.

The VIBRAM SOLE is not only extremely flexible and extra-light (it weights only 130 g, as compared with 177 g of rubber sole), but its structure allows it to absorb shocks and reduce efficiently the impact with the ground (shock absorber). Moreover, the tread pattern and the innovative mixture guarantee an exceptional grip, absolute adhesion and resistance.

The Techno Windtex membrane, developed with innovative technologies, is utilized in footwear for its special characteristics: it is waterproof for a long time, highly breathable, resistant to cold and wear and tear, and of long-time duration. In addition, the Techno Windtex membrane, bi-component in PTFE (polytetrafluoroetylene-Teflon) and POLYURETHANE, has been bi-elastic since today. The nanotechnologies make the membrane perfectly elastic, able to adapt itself to any movement, while preserving its characteristics of traspiration and impermeability, thus ensuring a perfect balance between dry and moist. This highly innovative patent in footwear is developed exclusively for Lumberjack in the co-branding project of TECHNO WINDTEX FOR LUMBERJACK.

Due to a special mixture of the sole, the absolute electrostatic discharge occurs. Moreover, the anatomic insole absorbs shocks resulting from impacts.
